Karate NL and Guardian Girls Karate will be hosting a self-defense clinic for women and girls on September 19th, 2026 at 69 St. Thomas Line in Paradise. This session is open to all women and girls and will be led by Hana Furumoto-Deshaies, Canadian National Team Karate Athlete, Certified Mental Performance Consultant, and Certified Guardian Girls Karate Instructor.

Guardian Girls Karate is a global initiative launched in 2022 by the World Karate Federation and the United Nations Population Fund to provide women and girls with practical tools to better respond to situations of gender based violence.
