Karate NL is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the upcoming kumite clinic with Yevhen Motovylin, Karate Alberta Provincial Team Kumite Coach and Karate Canada National Team Kumite Coach.

Yevhen Motovylin was a Ukrainian National Team Member for 15 years. He won silver at the WKF World Championships, gold at the World Cup, and bronze at the USA Open. He is also a medalist at the European Championships and Cups.

The clinic is scheduled to take place January 9 – 11th, 2026 at MacDonald Drive Elementary School at 100 MacDonald Drive, St. John’s. The detailed schedule is shown in the image.

Registration fees are $25 for the open training session and $125 for the weekend of elite training sessions. Elite training sessions are open to provincial team roster athletes and invited athletes only.

To attend any of the weekend’s sessions, an athlete must be a member of a Karate NL Member Club and in good standing at the time of the clinic.

Fees can be paid to Karate NL by e-transfer to the Treasurer at treasurer@karatenl.com and must be paid prior to the clinic. Please note that Karate NL does not use any other address for e-transfers. Any messages received to the contrary are spam and should be reported as such.
