The Board of Directors of Karate NL is pleased to announce that the organization has three new member dojos who have been confirmed as members by a vote of the Board per the by-laws of the organization effective October 1, 2025.

The three new members are:

Power Karate Academy offers expert instruction in Traditional Shotokan Karate, focusing on discipline, confidence, and personal growth for students of all ages. Our programs are designed to build strength, focus, and respect while developing practical self-defense skills in a positive, family-friendly environment. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced martial artist, Power Karate Academy provides a supportive atmosphere where you can challenge yourself, achieve your goals, and become your best both on and off the dojo floor.

A Budokai is a gathering of people on a similar path toward self-growth. Budokai NL is a Shotokan Karate Dojo that teaches Traditional Karate with an emphasis on self-defense, and on a mind and body approach to teaching and training. Budokai NL is a member Dojo of the World JKA and offers classes for older youth and adults, as well as a program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges. Budokai leadership believes that Karate holds immense benefits everyone, and everyone who attends becomes a part of an exciting and rewarding path forward.
