After a successful first Nationals 2025 meeting between PTSO’s and Karate Canada last week, Karate Newfoundland and Labrador is pleased to announce the release of the 2024-2025 Athlete Agreement. The agreement can be found here. 

This agreement is an important document which outlines the qualification process and requirements as well as the expectations of athletes who make the team roster. Additional information regarding Provincial Team training will be sent directly to club heads for dispersal to their members.

In addition to an update of the Cannabis Policy and reference to Karate NL’s newly adopted Social Media Policy, this agreement re-introduces a point ranking system for athletes wishing to make the provincial team roster.

As in previous years, KNL strongly encourages athletes and their families to review this document carefully as the selection process for the team roster starts with participation in the upcoming Atlantic Championships to be held November 9th in St. John’s.
